Requirements :

  1. Minimum Bachelor’s degree in quantitative field, e.g. Math, Physics, and Computer Science
  2. Minimum 1 year of working experience as Data Analyst, Data Scientist, Data Engineer, or similar position
  3. Have passion in big data, data mining, and machine learning
  4. Proficient in programming language, i.e : Python, R, Scala, etc
  5. Have natural curiosity and desire to learn
  6. Proficient in several modeling techniques including but not limited to: Clustering, SVM, Linear/Non-Linear Modeling, Random Forests, ANN, etc.
  7. High spirit in model testing and validation to create accurate and consistent models
  8. Comfortable in mining unstructured dataset and processing it to become usable dataset
  9. Familiar with relational/NoSQL database, SQL, and ETL process
  10. Good communication skill for both oral and written
  11. Have knowledge in big data tools such as Hadoop and Spark is a plus
  12. Participation in Kaggle is a plus

RESPONSIBILITES : 
  1. Develop robust machine learning models
  2. Extract huge volumes of data from multiple internal and external sources.
  3. Develop data pipelines and infrastructure to scale and automate the analyses that enable rapid product iteration
  4. Work closely with Data Analysts, Software Engineers, and Product Owners to deliver insights and impactful products for Tokopedia.
  5. Devise data mining process and architecture
  6. Read research papers / article to create the best model / system architecture available
  7. Explore and examine data from a variety of angles to determine hidden weaknesses, trends, and/or opportunities.
  8. Employ sophisticated analytics programs, machine learning, and statistical methods to prepare data for use in predictive & prescriptive modeling
